School-Based Program
Special Needs Baseball Clinics
Each year during the fall and spring, our school-based programs partner with special education schools, both private and public, to provide one-day special needs baseball “clinics.” Our school-based programs work in conjunction with the school’s physical education teacher and offer one-day League of Dreams events with volunteers, some of whom are ex-professional baseball players.
These events provide an opportunity for students to experience the thrill of baseball in a non-threatening environment. Students participate in various activities with other players and volunteers, build relationships and experience the thrill of being “champions.”
Our “Events” section will be updated shortly. Please contact the League of Dreams at (410) 719-1641 to have your special needs school participate in our program.
