League of Dreams Wins $25,000 Thanks to Your Votes.
The outpouring of support, viral promotion, and voting were spectacular. A special check presentation will take place in September (date to be determined) to officially recognize the League of Dreams for this distinct honor. Stay tuned.
Orioles Hall of Famer Mike Bordick and League of Dreams Giving Gift of Baseball to Region’s Youth with Disabilities
Orioles Hall of Fame member Mike Bordick is the chairman of League of Dreams, a Maryland nonprofit dedicated to providing special needs children and adults with the opportunity to play baseball and softball. He followed that with a lengthy stint as a broadcaster for the team’s Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. (TO READ MORE, CLICK HERE.)
